William Boyd Osborne and his wife Debbie have been residents of Russellville for over 43 years. Born in Crawford County, Osborne developed a love for drawing and painting early in life, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the University of Central Arkansas in 1970.

Osborne has visited galleries and museums in England, France and Italy, as well as multiple fine art museums in America to learn from the previous masters of fine art.

Osborne’s work has been described as stirring up memories of special people, places and events in viewers lives, with comments such as, “that reminds me of my Grandpa’s barn,” or, “that looks like Grandma’s flowers,” or, “that reminds me of where I grew up.”

With much of his work reflecting the natural beauty of River Valley area, Osborne pulls inspiration from Lake Dardanelle, the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains and streams and the Arkansas River bottoms to preserve a time when life was more calm and relaxed.
